I'm back! I've just finished my last assignment, submitted it and now am just wondering about the quality or lack of it lol. That's all passed, doesn't really matter now 'cos I now have to move onto actual studying. Anyway, I have subscribed to 'a word a day' in order to satisfy my appetite for words. This isn't today's word, just a word I came across somewhere: onerous, which means burdensome, kinda reflects how the stuff in my life has been affecting me in the past few weeks and the several weeks to come.
Anyway, I had an awesome chat with my high school roommate on Friday night :D I also read Lord Byron's biography finally, only because the word of the day from the website was 'byronic', which describes the poet's personality, which was not very nice, to say the least. His life story read like a manuscript from 'the Bold and the Beautiful' (not that I've ever watched a whole episode of it), i.e. affairs, illegitimate offspring, incest, well you get the picture. Great writer, shame about the character. Until next time, ta ra~
